TRIO Day 2023

TRIO Day is a day of celebration, reflection and action around increased access to higher education for disadvantaged students. Federal TRIO Programs help low-income and first-generation students enter college and earn a college degree. 

TRIO Day is a celebration day to honor TRIO participants, provide student leadership and professional development to TRIO staff, Identify and work with a State of New Mexico legislator to sponsor the TRIO Day Proclamation. 

In the morning we will meet at Santa Fe Community College for student leadership and professional development.  After lunch we'll head to the Roundhouse to visit state legislators and representatives on Friday, February 24th, 9:00 am -4:30 pm, see agenda below for details.

Registration Deadline: Friday, Feb. 08, 2023.

Note: You do not have to provide students and staff names upon registering. Student and Staff names and T-shirt sizes will be requested in a  T-Shirt Excel Document 

The deadline to email the Excel Spreadsheet to Mayra Gutierrez-Ramirez, mgutier7@unm.edu,  is also Friday, Feb. 8, 2023.
