2022 TRIO NM PRE-CONFERENCE: MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID

2022 TNM Pre-Conference Event

TRIO New Mexico is excited to announce that it will be offering a Pre-Conference Event on Mental Health First Aid!

Date of Event: Wednesday, April 6th

Time of Event: 8:30 am to 3 pm (Includes a 30 minute lunch break)

Cost of Event: $150 TNM Members and $175 Non-members

Location of Event: Virtual Platform

This event is limited to only 30 participants! Registration is on a first come registration basis only.

This Pre-conference event is designed to offer participants the opportunity to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults.

It will introduce training attendees to many topics to include:

• Common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges.
• Common signs and symptoms of substance use challenges.
• How to interact with a person in crisis.
• How to connect a person with help.
• Expanded content on trauma, substance use and self-care.

This training will lead to a three (3) year certification.

Participants will be required to register for this Pre-Conference event as it is not included in the price of the regular conference registration.

Registration Deadline:  April 1, 2022.
